Don't Hire Employees, Hire WORKERS!

Fay-Penn develops our local workforce through programs designed to have direct impact for employers.  We help to groom the people you need from entry level to corner office.  We don't take skillsets needed by our employers for granted, and neither should you.

Fay-Penn maintains the Orville and Ruth Eberly Scholarship Fund with the Community Foundation of Fayette County that provides financial aid to those seeking technical or trade degrees.  Since the fund's inception in 2014, we've helped almost 100 individuals to learn trade skills.  Each year, Fay-Penn oversees the Fayette Leaders Academy to enable and empower young talent in our local businesses.  We nurture young entrepreneurs and career seekers through events such as the Fayette County Business Pitch Competition and a Career Awareness Day.  Fay-Penn meshes its efforts with others to provide comprehensive workforce services. Our partners include the Westmoreland-Fayette Workforce Investment Board, Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center, PA CareerLink, the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce, and our educational institutions.
