Boeing Military Aircraft In Flight

Boeing’s Defense, Space and Security division has a facility in Smithfield. The DSS is one of the world's largest defense, space and security businesses specializing in innovative and capabilities-driven customer solutions, and the world’s largest manufacturer of military aircraft. The Smithfield facility consistently ranks among the top two Boeing DSS facilities in terms of production and cost-effectiveness.

Jim Delligatti, a McDonald's franchise owner in Uniontown, invented the

"Big Mac" in 1967.
