Leadership Fayette is a 9-month long emerging leaders program involving an immersive and transformational learning experience that takes place in a cohort setting. It features monthly interactive workshops with regional business and industry leaders. Each day-long session is held at various Fayette County business or industry locations and includes a facility tour along with opportunities for interaction with managers as part of the agenda.
Facilitators lead collaborative sessions using real business, industry, and community situations, challenges, and opportunities. Topics will include leadership styles/strengths, ethics, networking, branding, leading/adapting to change, corporate culture, and local government.
This program is a partnership between Fay-Penn Economic Development Council, Fayette Chamber of Commerce and Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus.
The Leadership Fayette program runs from September 2026 through May 2027, offering participants an immersive experience in leadership development. Throughout the program, participants will explore leadership styles and strengths, ethics, networking, personal branding, change management, corporate culture, and local government.
Leadership Fayette will accept only 20 participants per cohort, with a maximum of two applicants per business. Submit applications by July 17; accepted participants will receive notification by August 21. Due to strong interest, admission into this emerging leaders program is and guaranteed.
